An Older lady contacted London Private Investigator as she needed some help with her situation. The problem she had was with her husband of over 40 years. He had had a colourful life which he had recently written an account of and was waiting to get published and he was now at a loose end. He wanted to write a novel to replace the time he was spending on his autobiography and had become quite grumpy as he could not find a subject to write about. our client had taken a short trip abroad to see a relative and to get away from his foul mood and when she came back he was behaving very strangely. He had moved from their bedroom into one of the spare rooms and hardly ever came out. He had a lot of parcels arrive with no clues as to what they contained or who they came from and the worst thing of all was a lady visitor who only called to see him when our client was out.

We recommend putting in some covert cameras to see what he was doing while she was out. We told her she could keep the cameras once we had installed them and use them for security purposes. She was very keen on this idea but she did not think it would be possible to put the cameras in the bedroom he was now using. We fitted the cameras in several other rooms and our client arranged to go and visit her relative again so her husband could do what he fancied.

After a two week monitoring period we were able to report the following to our client. Her husband was writing a sex novel and he wanted to research the life of a high class prostitute. He had come across a particular woman and had become obsessed with her. He wanted to experience as many of her services as possible first hand in order to be able to write convincingly about her. During the two weeks our client was away the woman came to the house every day. They were researching the book all over the house including our clients bedroom. Our client was very shocked and upset but was composed enough to tell her husband what she had found out was unacceptable and she gave him the option of stopping the research or finding somewhere else to live.
